An incredibly clean 1978 Sterling silver vermeil Alfred Dunhill wristwatch
The white enamel (truly excellent condition) is decorated with handsome black oversized Roman numerals alongside unpretentious black baton hands
The solid silver case remains in remarkable condition. As well as hallmarks to the outside of the case back, the inside is stamped with the Swiss ‘canard’ for 925 Sterling silver
Fastened to the case by elegant T bar lugs is the original Dunhill black crocodile leather strap to which is attached the original vermeil buckle and pin, bearing bold statement hallmarks and assayed in London in 1978. Both remain in exceptional condition
The original mineral crystal glass is clear and unmarked
Wound by the synthetic cabochon sapphire set winding crown is the Dunhill signed, chronometer certified, Swiss made manual wind movement. It runs smoothly and keeps good time
