A very groovy 1970s piece from one of the oldest luxury Swiss watch brands
The imitation walnut veneer dial (best admired photographed on my wrist) is in immaculate condition. It’s decorated with golden leaf hands, quarter hour Breguet numerals, round indices and ‘Favre-Leuba’ at 12 o’clock
The gold plated case is in excellent shape and is accented by a fixed striated bezel
The brushed steel case back is lightly scratched
The original mineral glass is lightly scratched at points but remains clear and secure
Fitted is a brown pressed leather Hirsch strap and gold tone buckle
The in-house 17 jewel, Swiss made manual wind movement runs smoothly and keeps good time
