Corum, a brand best known for their gold pieces, snuck this c.1980 Sterling Silver piece in under the radar

From a company that employs bird feathers for dials, I expected something no less quirky than a mirror as this watch’s centrepiece.  The minimalist dial is decorated by black baton hands, the brand’s applied logo, ‘Corum’ and ‘Swiss Made’

The bezel remains in good shape with only minor surface scratches and bears the Swiss ‘Canard’ hallmark for Sterling Silver

The case-back, although scratched to the outside, again bears elegant Swiss hallmarks to the inside

The original winding crown is set with a cabochon synthetic sapphire

The black leather strap and chrome buckle are in good condition

The Swiss-made, Corum signed manual wind movement runs smoothly and keeps excellent time

Presented in its original box
