More a bracelet than timepiece, this Sterling Silver Habmann wristwatch remains a very wearable piece 50 odd years after its inception
Intended for ladies, the longer integrated bracelet will also lend itself to the wrist of man. I also find it’s period design to be quite androgynous
The small maroon dial features silvered baton indices and hands and is in very nice condition
Both the case and bracelet share the same ‘bark’ effect, a finish pioneered by such esteemed jewellers as Andrew Grima and Roy King
The case back is stamped ‘935’, as is the secure folding clasp
The manual wind movement runs smoothly and keeps excellent time
