1970s Sterling Silver Roy King
Assayed in London in 1972, this men’s Roy King wristwatch features a Sterling Silver bezel (reminiscent of the Grima Teak watch) from which two Sterling Silver ‘horsebit’ or ‘snaffle’ links extend (both hallmarked)
The minimalist black dial is adorned with Roy King’s signature and complimented by silver baton hands
The original domed synthetic crystal glass is in good condition with only a couple minor marks
The inside of the case back is stamped with King’s maker’s mark and assay marks for London and 1972
King’s logo can be seen on the plated winding crown
The Bueche-Girod, Swiss made manual wind movement runs smoothly and keeps excellent time
The aftermarket black pressed leather strap is in very good condition
A very rare and unusual Sterling piece
