A proper Sterling Silver piece by esteemed jeweller Roy King, winner of two first prizes, a second and a third at the British Modern Jewellery Exhibition in 1961. The winning pieces are now in the permanent collection of Goldsmith’s Hall
The clean Milanese mesh finish on the dial continues through from the bracelet. Telling the time are two sleek black baton hands placed between Roy King’s signature and ‘Swiss’
The rectangular monocoque case features a stepped bezel and is decorated on the reverse with King’s iconic statement assay and hallmarks (London 1974)
The Milanese mesh bracelet remains taught and in excellent condition without signs of stretching and fastens securely via King’s signature multi setting buckle clasp. It too is boldly stamped for London 1974
The Swiss made, manual wind FHF cal.69 movement has just undergone a full and comprehensive service. It runs smoothly and keeps good time
