A sensational 1978 Sterling silver piece by esteemed jeweller Roy King, winner of two first prizes, a second and a third at the British Modern Jewellery Exhibition in 1961. The winning pieces are now in the permanent collection of Goldsmith’s Hall
The wonderfully classic dial is decorated black Roman numerals, heavy diamond hands, a tasteful minute track and the famed British jeweller’s signature at 12 o’clock
The ridged/godron monocoque case has undergone a precessional polish and is presented in fantastic condition. The case back bears the marque’s iconic statement hallmarks (Sterling silver London 1978)
The original synthetic cabochon sapphire set winding crown is in good condition
The acrylic glass is in good condition with light signs of wear
Fitted is a tan leather strap fastened by the original Roy King Sterling silver buckle and pin
The Swiss made, manual wind FHF cal.69 has just undergone a full service. It runs smoothly and keeps good time
