An elegant 1980s solid 18k yellow gold Baume & Mercier
The brushed gilt dial remains in excellent condition and is decorated with golden Dauphine hands and the marque’s applied logo at 12
The octagonal case features a stepped ‘bi-finish’ brushed and polished bezel, accented by the original synthetic cabochon sapphire set winding crown. The case remains in wonderful shape with some light damage to the 5 o’clock corner of the case back (invisible when worn)
The case back is boldly stamped ‘750’ alongside the profile of Helvetia, the national personification of Switzerland and the country’s hallmark for 18 carat gold
The original Baume & Mercier black crocodile strap is in good wearable condition with slight wear to the end of the 6 o’clock half
The original gold plated buckle remains in good condition
The Swiss made cal.770 manual wind movement runs smoothly and keeps good time
