1990s Sterling Silver Hallmark Ring

A 1990s Sterling silver band bearing bold statement hallmarks 

I’m a huge fan of bringing hallmarks out from the inside of a shank and using them to decorate a piece

In this case the stamps are an unambiguous yet remarkably artistic way of embellishing this otherwise rather minimalistic silver ring

These hallmarks tell us the ring was assayed in London, England in 1997 with maker’s mark of ‘JPE’
