Introduced in 1989 as an alternative to the classic Lignes 1 and 2, the Gatsby is easily recognisable by double moulding to one side and ‘S.T. Dupont’ engraved on the front face beneath the ignition barrel
This 2000s silver plated example (purchased in Cannes in 2002) remains in marvellous condition and is presented in its original box alongside paperwork and sales certificate
Perfect working order with a great range of flame height adjustment and an excellent ‘ping’
A proper weighty piece and the right way to set fire to things
