An exceptional solid 9ct yellow gold twin blade fruit/pocket knife by England’s oldest family jeweller Deakin & Francis
This antique piece, featuring twin bails and an intricate guilloché finish, was assayed in Birmingham in 1923 (indicated by bold hallmark both sides of the gold casing)
The blades extend from the casing by twisting the corresponding bails clockwise. Ingenious!
The bails will also allow for the knife to be worn on a chain through the button holes of a waistcoat or lapel of a jacket
