A glorious century old solid sterling silver Omega cushion case wristwatch
The remarkably clean enamel dial is decorated with bold Roman numerals, black Breguet hands, a subtle minute track and a sub seconds dial at 6
The sterling silver case remains in great shape. Bold assay marks to the case back show the watch was assayed in Birmingham in 1926
Also present alongside periodic service markings is the case maker’s mark of ‘ALD’ for the ‘Dennison Watch Co.’ who were known at the time for manufacturing high quality watch cases in England for famous Swiss marques such as Rolex and of course Omega
The acrylic glass remains in good condition
Fitted to the fixed wire lugs is a back pressed leather strap fastened by a silver tone buckle
