A shining Sterling Silver Gilt Roy King in fabulous condition
This remarkable piece was assayed in London in 1973 and features a hinged bark effect bangle and King’s iconic buckle clasp
The finish continues seamlessly though the dial and contrasts beautifully with the polished stepped bezel
In case the Roy King workshop’s signature finish is not enough, defined hallmarks on the case-back, bracelet and buckle leave you with no doubt in your mind as to who the maker is
The gilding is in superb condition with only minor signs of wear to the inside of the bracelet, and the Swiss made Bueche-Girod manual wind movement runs smoothly and keeps excellent time
Evidently a watch that was worn sparingly by its previous owner, the flawless original synthetic crystal glass matches the rest of the piece’s superb condition
The case measures 28x28mm and the bracelet accommodates a wrist of up to approximately 22cm
Roy King wristwatches are no longer made and are fast becoming collectors’ pieces. A piece like this in such fantastic condition will be hard to find again
