Vintage 1930s 9ct Gold Longfellow Lighter

A very rare solid 9 carat gold jacketed Longfellow petrol lighter from the 1930s

An extraordinary piece of kit sporting a most unusual diagonal flint wheel placement 

The engine turned gold jacket is in wonderful condition considering the lighter’s age

The ‘9ct’ gold stamped lid sits flush beside the flint wheel but at a slight angle when viewed from the side

Presented in perfect working order with a silky smooth movement that’s a true joy to use
