Vintage 1930s Sterling Silver Movado

A rare c.1930s 935 sterling silver cased Movado Chronometre gents wristwatch 

The Art Deco silvered dial is decorated with applied Breguet numerals, applied dot minute track, blued steel diamond hands and a sub seconds dial at 6

The solid sterling silver case remains in great shape with fixed lugs and a hinged snap on case back 

The inside of the case back is stamped with a 0.935 sterling silver fineness mark as well as the ‘rampant bear’, the Swiss hallmark for silver 

Also stamped is a hand holding a pocket watch, famously the historic trademark of the Movado Watch Company, as well as reference numbers at the base

Fitted is a vintage England made black pressed crocodile strap and steel buckle

Powering the watch is the celebrated Movado Cal.150MN manual wind movement.  It runs smoothly and keeps good time
