The cream/ivory dial (presented in remarkable condition) is decorated with gilt Arabic numerals, Alpha hands, a refined minute tracks and a sub seconds dial at 6 o’clock
The solid gold, Swiss made case is in brilliant condition considering its age with tasteful proportions typical of a 40s gentleman’s dress watch. The case back bears fineness markings as well as the profile of Helvetia, the female personification of Switzerland and the country’s hallmark for 18k gold
The domed acrylic glass remains clear
Fitted is a NOS brown pig skin strap and gold tone buckle
