A vintage circa 1940s steel case gents wristwatch from West End Watch Co.
The patinated silvered dial (scratches are on the original acrylic crystal glass and not the dial) features pumpkin lume Roman numerals, luminescent round indices, luminescent Squelette hands, a ‘chemin de fer’ minute track and a sub seconds dial at 6 o’clock
The Everbright steel case is in good condition with signs of wear commensurate with age and use
The screw down case back, under which sits a further metal dust cover, is stamped with the West End Watch Co. Logo
Fitted is the Staybrite steel ladder bracelet from Gay Frères, arguably the world’s most important watch bracelet manufacturer
The clean West End Watch Co. stamped manual wind movement runs smoothly and keeps good time
