Vintage 1960s 9ct Gold Pocket knife

A very cool solid 9ct gold cased pocket knife 

One of the two engine turned sides bears a clear plaque for engraving while both are decorated by bold hallmarks

Made by Cohen & Charles who, amongst other things, made cigarette cases and cigar cutters 

Assayed in Birmingham in 1960

The bale is stamped ‘Made in England’ and allows for the knife to be worn on a chain through the lapel of a jacket or button holes of a waistcoat 

All blades remain sharp and operate smoothly

The steel innards of the knife show signs of oxidation, purely cosmetic
