The timeless designs of esteemed jeweller Andrew Grima present themselves in this outstanding 1974 Jeux d’Argent Omega De Ville. As the model’s name suggests, both the Omega Watch Company (OWC) case and integrated bracelet are fashioned of sterling silver, making this timepiece just as much jewellery as it is watch
The brushed bronze/brown remains in good condition. It’s decorated with white Roman numerals and white baton hands
The intricate integrated double curb link bracelet is in wonderful condition and without signs of stretching. It’s fastened securely by an Omega signed and clearly hallmarked sliding barrel clasp
The solid Sterling silver case is in wonderful condition and clearly stamped to the inside of the case-back with a sterling fineness mark as well as the Swiss ‘Gentian’ hallmark for silver (also present on the outside of the case at 9 o’clock)
The oval mineral crystal glass remains clear
The iconic and ever reliable Omega Cal.625 manual wind movement has just been serviced. It runs smoothly and keeps good time
