This c.1970 solid Sterling Silver Rovina X H.Pozzo bangle watch is the perfect combination of precision Swiss watchmaking and French jewellery flair
The elongated brushed silver dial is decorated with black quarter hour stick indices and silvered baton hands
The professionally polished Sterling Silver case remains in wonderful shape and features bold hallmarks to the case back. Alongside a fineness marking of 925 is the Swiss ‘canard’ hallmark for 92.5% silver
The stunning integrated bangle was crafted by French jeweller H.Pozzo and is presented in truly wonderful condition after a professional polish and reshaping. Alongside stamps of ‘925’ and ‘Argent’ is one of my favourite hallmarks the French crab or ‘crabe’, a stamp that marked Sterling Silver pieces made in France up until 1984
Winding the watch is the original Rovina crown
The original acrylic glass remains in good shape with a slight scratch to the top left corner
The Swiss made Incabloc 17 jewel manual wind movement has just undergone a full and comprehensive service. It runs smoothly and keeps good time
