Vintage 1970s Sterling Silver Roy King Wristwatch

A Sterling Silver gilt Roy King wristwatch assayed in London in 1977

The white dial features black Roman numerals, lozenge hands, ‘chemin de fer’ minute track and King’s signature 

Over time the gilding has worn, adding further charm and a uniqueness to the piece 

The case-back bears deep, clear hallmarks including the late Queen’s profile as the watch was assayed the year of her Silver Jubilee

The original synthetic crystal glass is in good condition with a few minor scratches 

The aftermarket pressed lizard strap is in good condition, as is the gold tone buckle 

Powered by a Bueche-Girod Swiss made manual wind movement, the watch runs wonderfully and keeps excellent time
