A vintage 1980s gold plated Raymond Weil wristwatch

The striking lacquered turquoise coloured dial needs no further decoration but still features elegant Dauphine hands and a small diamond at 12 o’clock

The gold plated case features a ‘ridged’ or ‘godron’ finished bezel reminiscent of Genta designed Van Cleef wristwatches of a similar vintage

Further accenting the dial is a synthetic turquoise set  winding crown 

Attached is the original pressed leather Raymond Weil strap 

The clean, manual wind, Swiss made 17 jewel movement runs smoothly and keeps good time
