A most unusual 1990s Sterling silver and leather Hermès ‘Tourareg’ bracelet
Made in France and then sent to North Africa to be decorated by the Touareg tribe, the front of the silver plaque features a hand finished chased/engraved geometric design while the back is boldly stamped Hermès. Alongside a variety of other stamps can be seen a fineness marking of ‘925’ and a maker’s mark of ‘EH’ for Émile-Maurice Hermès’
Currently fitted is a long leather wristwatch strap but also present is the original brown leather toggle fastened strap (significantly shorter)
